I worked on the Canowindra Live app as part of my role as a Co-Founder of VIKIN Event Apps. I was responsible for initial sales conversations, client onboarding & management, engineering, operations, and on-site support out in Australia.
September 2019 - August 2022
Led mobile engineering across React Native and native iOS and Android delivery. Over the years I was there, I improved launch performance from around 40s to around 0.5s through a series of iterative improvements, built countless features to increase customer satisfaction and retention, and supported the team as the product was refactored into native iOS & Android experiences.

Peslo, my consultancy, took over the Clean Me marketplace project from various outsource development agencies based in Asia. We have since worked with Clean Me to scale their company from being bootstrapped through multiple investment rounds and millions in revenue.

I worked on the Dubbed Out app as part of my role as a Co-Founder of VIKIN Event Apps. I was responsible for initial sales conversations, client onboarding & management, engineering, operations, and on-site support.

I joined E.ON Next to own part of a new app rebuild that turned E.ON Next from 'just a utilities company' into a provider of energy services, whilst simultaneously supporting & improving the stability of the existing customer application that millions of users rely on daily and providing strong foundations for future developers to build upon.

I worked on a mobile car parking payment app for the ParkNow Group (now known as EasyPark), covering Parkmobile and ParkNow in the EU, and the RingGo app in the UK.
September 2022 - November 2023
I joined ev.energy originally on a short contract to build an EV charger hardware integration, that'd allow the app to connect over a local Wi-Fi connection directly to the charger to apply first-use config - but the contract was then extended multiple times over a year as they needed more support within engineering. I took ownership of countless initiatives within engineering, including app stability improvements, streamlining the whitelabel product offering, and guiding technical architecture for whole-company initiatives.

Back during college I worked on a couple of different games. Fruit Flight was a mobile game where you piloted a jetpack rider to collect as much fruit as possible.

In May 2023, I released the dashcam viewer Perception as a side project, after someone tried to involve me in a crash so they could make a fraudulent insurance claim. Perception is built with React Native (along with native modules for video rendering / metadata collection in Swift, Obj-C, Java, Kotlin), and is available on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Android.

I joined PerchPeek originally to build app features and improve the general app quality, before I then took ownership of the mobile team's app automation testing project. Improvements to the app's quality improved NPS from -12.5 to 14.5.

I worked with waEV-charge to deliver a brand new smart-charging app for their home EV charging solution - that provided drivers with the opportunity to get rewarded for charging at a time that is better for grid utilisation and carbon intensity.

I joined the Wildhero project to take the concept from ideation to MVP within 4 weeks, working further over the next 6 months to add new features, bring technical improvements, and help scale the team by interviewing candidates for both full time and contract positions.

During my time working at a world-renowned software agency, I worked on a mobile storytelling product for Wonderbly that brought one of their bestselling personalised books to mobile.
March 2021 - September 2021
I joined Zilch to build their mobile tap and pay feature, owning development across the mobile stack. Within 6 months, the feature delivered more than 120,000 virtual card activations and a nine-figure increase in GMV. I became the main port-of-call in the department for the feature, and for questions around advanced mobile engineering practices.
